Indigenous Tattooing

This section will be for the display of Indigenous tattoos done by Indigenous Tattoo artists and tattoos that depict Indigneous imagery. These images are intended to act as reference material for Indigneous people who wish to get tattoos modeled after their ancestors tattoos. If you are not an Indigneous person please respect the cultural Intellectual property of the Indigenous peoples these tribal tattoo designs come from.

I have not been able to correctly indentify to which nation these tattoos and the people wearing them belong to, so please help me if you know and I will place them in the correct category.

If you are using these images as references for tattoos please respect yourself and your family enough to get a professional to apply your tattoo, you can contract such dieses as hepatitis or HIV from improper tattooing. Also please research your tattooing tradition so as to make the right choice when getting your tattoo, know why you are getting what you are getting and possibly even the ceremonies that might go along with it.
